Agreement to these Terms

These Terms govern your use of Uno, including the Uno mobile app, website and related services. By creating an account, accessing the app or using Uno, you agree to these Terms.

If you use Uno for a company, agency, property owner or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to use Uno on its behalf.

What Uno provides

Uno provides mobile-first tools for property management workflows. Depending on your role and the features enabled in your account, Uno may help with property setup, tenant invitations, maintenance requests, vendor workflows, rent reminders, manual payment-status confirmation, notifications and future paperless onboarding features.

Uno is a workflow and record-management tool. Uno does not replace professional legal, accounting, tax, property management or financial advice.

Accounts and responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate account and workflow information;
  • keeping your login details secure;
  • using Uno only for lawful property-management purposes;
  • ensuring you have authority to invite tenants, vendors, agents or property users;
  • reviewing all records, rent information, vendor activity and legal documents before relying on them;
  • complying with laws that apply to your property, tenancy, country and business.

Landlords, tenants, vendors and agents

Uno shows different information and actions depending on user role, workspace context, permissions and invited workflows. Landlords and agents are responsible for managing property records and invitations. Tenants are responsible for submitting accurate requests and payment-status reports. Vendors are responsible for accurately updating work status and job notes.

Rent and payment-status information

Where Uno records rent reminders, manual payment reports or landlord confirmation actions, these are workflow records only unless a separate enabled payment-processing feature is expressly provided. A tenant report that rent was paid does not by itself prove that the landlord received payment.

Users remain responsible for verifying payments through their bank, payment provider or agreed payment channel.

Maintenance and vendor work

Uno may help users create maintenance requests, attach images, invite vendors and track work progress. Uno is not responsible for the quality, safety, pricing or completion of work performed by external vendors, contractors or service providers.

Documents, templates and future AI features

Uno may include document, onboarding, lease or AI-assisted drafting features in the future. Any template, AI-assisted output or workflow suggestion must be reviewed by the responsible user before use. Uno does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that a document is suitable for every jurisdiction, property or situation.

Acceptable use

You must not use Uno to:

  • break the law or infringe another person’s rights;
  • upload unlawful, harmful, misleading, abusive or infringing content;
  • access another user’s account or data without permission;
  • interfere with the security or operation of Uno;
  • send spam, fake invitations or fraudulent workflow requests;
  • misrepresent property, tenancy, payment, vendor or maintenance information.

Availability and changes

Uno may be updated, changed, suspended or discontinued in whole or in part. We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that Uno will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Uno and Futureview Group Pty Ltd are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of profit, loss of data, lost rent, vendor disputes, property damage or losses caused by third-party services or user-provided information.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe an account is being misused, creates risk, violates these Terms or is required by law. Users may request account deletion using the account deletion page or by contacting support.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, unless another mandatory law applies to your use of the service.
